What high school and college did you attend? What did you study? What are you currently studying?

I attended Glenwood High School in Chatham Illinois. I studied psychology at Lincoln Land Community College for 2 years and then went on to study at University of Illinois in Springfield for psychology with a concentration in child development. I currently attend University of Illinois in Carbondale working on becoming a BCBA!

  1. I have 6 people in my family.
  2. I have lived in Springfield my whole life.
  3. I am getting married in July.
  4. I love playing volleyball and softball.
  5. I absolutely love my job!

What 3 words would you use to describe The Autism Clinic?

Rewarding, exciting, happy

What are your hobbies when you’re not working with our amazing children?

I like to play volleyball with my sister, spend time with my fiancé and family, go mudding with my 4-wheeler, ride bikes

What is your favorite part about working at The Autism Clinic?

The clients just melt my heart every time I work with them. I love coming to work because every day is different and these kids are bound to do something exciting and fun every day.

What have you gained from working at The Autism Clinic?

I have gained a new found respect for parents who have children with autism and how hard they work to make their kids’ lives a little easier. I have learned that it is not their fault that their kids are not well behaved sometimes, but that there is so much help out there for them.

If you can go anywhere on a dream vacation, where would you go?

I graduated from Sacred Heart – Griffin High School in 2008. For my undergraduate degree I attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, then moved to Minnesota to work on a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis at St. Cloud State University.

  2. I love watching Chicago Bears, St. Louis Blues, and Chicago Bulls games!
  3. I have a coffee obsession
  4. I love to read, hike, and cook
  5. I’m learning to code in my “free time”

What 3 words would you use to describe The Autism Clinic?

Supportive, peppy, and cheerful

What are your hobbies when you’re not working with our amazing children?

I like to spend time with my family and friends, catch up on TV shows, and read when I can.

What is your favorite part about working at The Autism Clinic?

My favorite parts of working at TAC are that we have such a supportive team that is willing to work together and that we get to work with such great families!

What have you gained from working at The Autism Clinic?

I have truly gained so much from TAC in the short time that I have worked here. I have gained new friends and great relationships with parents and their children.

If you can go anywhere on a dream vacation, where would you go?

My dream vacation would be a trip to Alaska or Ireland!
